Lollies Wendy Houses was started by Lawrence and Florence Langebalie with a vision of uplifting the Cape Flats community by providing Quality, Affordable accommodation at a time when prices of housing and rentals in the Western Cape was becoming less and less affordable to people of the Cape Flats. They also realised that their venture would solve another problem faced by their community and that was providing employment to the people in the immediate community.
Lawrence and Florence, both passionate advocates for upliftment of previously disadvantaged communities are constantly looking at ways of using their business as a means of bettering the people of their community with training, skills development and employment.
